Begin by soaking the dates in hot water for 15 minutes. Drain the softened dates and roughly chop them.
In a blender combine the avocados, chopped dates, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt, honey, almond milk and cinnamon. Blend until smooth, starting and stopping the machine to check consistency and smoothness.
Once the mixture is fully combined and lump-free, pour into a bowl or smaller bowls, cover and refrigerate overnight. This helps develop the flavors.
Serve with chopped pistachios or plain.
