Crunchy Red Slaw

Crunchy Red Slaw


  • ½ red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 5-6 dashes hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp. black sesame seeds, plus more for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. In a large bowl combine the cabbage, jalapeno and green onions.

  2. In a small bowl combine the mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, hot sauce, sesame seeds, salt and pepper. Whisk to combine.

  3. Pour dressing over the vegetables and toss to combine. Let sit for 10-15 minutes for the flavors to meld, stirring occasionally. Check seasoning, adding more salt and pepper if needed.

  4. Garnish with extra sesame seeds.
