Homemade Vanilla Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 4 cups freshly made almond milk
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup, Just Date Syrup or honey

Directions

  1. Begin by splitting the vanilla bean lengthwise and remove the seeds with a paring knife.

  2. In a blender place the almond milk, seeds from the vanilla bean, vanilla extract and sweetener. Blend on high for 2 minutes.

  3. Enjoy plain, in a smoothie or with granola. Almond milk will keep for 1 week refrigerated.
