Cold Brew Coffee

Cold Brew Coffee

  • 1 cup coffee beans
  • 6 cups cold filtered water

  1. Place the beans in a coffee or spice grinder and pulse a few times to break them down. They should resemble coarse cornmeal with some larger chunks still remaining, not too fine.

  2. Pour the grounds into a large pitcher. Pour over the filtered water and stir.

  3. Cover and place in the fridge for 12-24 hours.

  4. After it has "brewed" for 12-24 hours remove from the fridge. Pour into a clean bowl through a fine mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth OR pour through a nut milk bag.

  5. Keep in the fridge until needed. To serve pour over ice and add desired flavors and milk or water to thin it out if it’s too strong.
