Kumquat and Basil Sangria
Ingredients
- 1 pint kumquats, cut into thirds
- 1 bottle white wine, chilled
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 1/2 cup basil, torn into small pieces
- 3 tbsp. St. Germain
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp. agave
- Ice
- Basil sprig, for garnish
Directions
Combine kumquats, wine, vodka, basil, St. Germain, vanilla and agave in a large pitcher. Stir together.
Place in the fridge for at least 1 hour to let the flavors to meld.
When ready to serve, fill a short glass with ice and pour over. Garnish with a sprig of basil.
