Overnight Banana and Walnut Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1- 1 1/4 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup rolled oats, gluten free
- 2 tbsp. chia seeds
- 2 tbsp. honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 small banana, sliced or cubed
- 1/4 cup whole walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped
Directions
In a medium bowl combine the almond milk, oats, chia seeds, honey or maple, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Stir together.
Cover and place in the fridge overnight to thicken.
When ready to serve, stir to loosen, adding more almond milk if desired. Top with sliced banana and chopped walnuts.
