Homemade Vanilla Almond Milk
Ingredients
- 4 cups freshly made almond milk
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup, Just Date Syrup or honey
Directions
Begin by splitting the vanilla bean lengthwise and remove the seeds with a paring knife.
In a blender place the almond milk, seeds from the vanilla bean, vanilla extract and sweetener. Blend on high for 2 minutes.
Enjoy plain, in a smoothie or with granola. Almond milk will keep for 1 week refrigerated.
