No Soak Rosemary White Beans


  • 5 cups of water
  • 1 pound dried great northern beans, picked through
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3 tbsp. chopped rosemary
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, high quality
  • 2 tsp. Himalayan pink salt
  • 1 tsp. freshly cracked black pepper


  1. Place all of the ingredients into the inner pot of your electric pressure cooker and stir together.

  2. Close the lid, lock and set the steam valve to sealing.

  3. Hit the High Pressure or Beans button and cook on high for 1 hour. Once done, hit cancel and let it NPR.

  4. Unlock the lid, remove the bay leaves and stir together. Some of the beans will start to break down while others stay whole making for a creamy, thick sauce. If it looks too thick add a little water. Taste for seasoning, adding more salt or pepper if needed.
