Greens Smoothie with Almond Milk
Ingredients
- 2 cups almond milk, plain and unsweetened
- 1 banana, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 green apple, core removed and cut into chunks
- ½ English cucumber, cut into smaller chunks
- 1 inch knob ginger, peeled and chopped
- 1 lemon, juiced
- ½ head romaine, washed and chopped
- ½ cup baby spinach, washed
- ½ cup watercress, washed
- ¼ cup mint, loosely packed
- ¼ cup parsley, loosely packed
- 1 tbsp. chia seeds
- 1 cup ice
Directions
- In a blender or Vitamix, place all of the ingredients except for the ice. Press down to make sure it all fits. 
- Starting on low, begin to blend everything together, slowly raising the speed until you reach high. Once everything is barely blended, add in the ice. Blend on high again for 1-2 minutes.
