To a cocktail shaker add 5 blackberries and the leaves stripped from 1 sprig of rosemary. With a muddler or wooden spoon muddle the mixture together to release the juices from the berries, about 30 seconds.
Next add in 2 ounces bourbon, 1/2 ounce lemon juice, 1 tbsp. maple syrup followed by 1/2 cup of ice. Add the lid and vigorously shake for 30 seconds.
Strain into a short glass filled with ice. Garnish with 2 halved blackberries, a few lemon slices and a sprig of rosemary.
