Greens Smoothie with Almond Milk

Greens Smoothie with Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond milk, plain and unsweetened
  • 1 banana, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 green apple, core removed and cut into chunks
  • ½ English cucumber, cut into smaller chunks
  • 1 inch knob ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ½ head romaine, washed and chopped
  • ½ cup baby spinach, washed
  • ½ cup watercress, washed
  • ¼ cup mint, loosely packed
  • ¼ cup parsley, loosely packed
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 cup ice

Directions

  1. In a blender or Vitamix, place all of the ingredients except for the ice. Press down to make sure it all fits.

  2. Starting on low, begin to blend everything together, slowly raising the speed until you reach high. Once everything is barely blended, add in the ice. Blend on high again for 1-2 minutes.

  3. Once smooth and fully blended, pour into 2 large glasses and drink immediately.
