Kumquat and Basil Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1 pint kumquats, cut into thirds
  • 1 bottle white wine, chilled
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1/2 cup basil, torn into small pieces
  • 3 tbsp. St. Germain
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp. agave
  • Ice
  • Basil sprig, for garnish

Directions

  1. Combine kumquats, wine, vodka, basil, St. Germain, vanilla and agave in a large pitcher. Stir together.

    Place in the fridge for at least 1 hour to let the flavors to meld.

  2. When ready to serve, fill a short glass with ice and pour over. Garnish with a sprig of basil.
