Elderflower Rosemary Fizz

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2-3 sprigs rosemary, plus more for garnish
  • Vodka
  • Coconut water
  • Freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Elderflower liqueur
  • Soda water
  • Thinly sliced cucumber, for garnish

Directions

  1. To a small sauce pot add the water, sugar and rosemary. Bring up to a simmer and cook until the sugar has dissolved, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and let steep for 20 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a jar or glass.

  2. To make 1 cocktail add 1 ounce of rosemary simple syrup, 2 ounces vodka, 1 ounce coconut water, .5 ounces lime juice, splash of elderflower liqueur and 1/4 cup of ice. Add the lid and shake for 20 seconds.

  3. Fill a tall glass with ice. Strain in the cocktail, top off with soda water and garnish with cucumber slices and a sprig of rosemary.
